Time: Dedicated Volunteers are a gift. They can serve as prospectors, mining their networks for nuggets we hope and want to pan out. They also can be the go-getters who will put on special events such as auctions, galas, or raffles.
Volunteers can expand our horizons, help us to meet people of influence and affluence that we wouldn’t meet otherwise, bring skills and expertise that will increase revenues, and become new and dear friends.
This is particularly helpful when making plans for a capital campaign.
Talent: Do you have a background in finance, education, art, computer technology, music, drama, fitness, dancing, language, art, marketing, grant writing, law, scouting, cooking? Do you enjoy reading or writing? You see where we are going with this. Share your talent with a child, with a family with our community.
Things: Non-profit organizations need all sorts of things. Our ideas and programs are always evolving in order to meet the ever-changing needs and concerns of the communities we serve. To give and be our best there are always tangible things needed and we keep a “wish list”. Consider giving an item needed or contributing a gift card for a store that may carry the item.
A new Public Arts Project! We have commissioned world-renowned muralist Paul Santoleri to create a mural on the East side of our building! We have launched a $35,000 fund-raising campaign to pay for the mural and undertake some much-needed building improvements. Please make your checks payable to the Care Center Foundation.
Of course monetary gifts, both unrestricted and restricted, are greatly appreciated. Please make your checks payable to the “Care Center Foundation” 127-129 South Matlack Street, West Chester, PA 19382. Of course your gift is tax-deductible. In the near future monetary donations will be possible on-line for your convenience. We thank you for your patience.
