Volunteers are very special people and The Care Center Foundation appreciates the tremendous support and help we receive from those individuals who answer the call to serve. The ability of people to work willingly together for the betterment of their community and themselves is a valuable resource. The Care Center Foundation depends on its volunteers to help fulfill its mission of offering a broad range of educational, recreational, empowering, self‐enrichment, and family support services to community members each year. Volunteering is rewarding, easy and fun. However, it is important that we ensure the well-being, safety, and protection of everyone. All individuals interested in volunteering and any type of community service must complete the requirements listed below.
To serve as a Volunteer at the Care Center Foundation, in addition to completing our Volunteer application, you are required to obtain the following clearances:
As a Volunteer there are no cost for obtaining the first two (2) clearances. If you have been a PA resident for the last 10 consecutive years, you may not be required to obtain the FBI report. However, you are required to complete and submit an Affidavit of Residency statement*.

Your communication should include: 1) your full name, 2) the number of hours you are required to fulfill, 3) your deadline for completing the obligation, 4) your schedule of availability, and 5) your telephone number and the best time to reach you.
