Kathy has always had the desire to help those in need, especially children.  While she was in college, she volunteered at a school for special needs children.  When she graduated from Univeristy of Virginia School of Law, where she studied Business Law, she wanted to do pro bono work that could benefit children. Therefore, she became a volunteer for the Support Center for Child Advocates in Philadelphia.  She represented the child’s interest and worked with social workers with the hope that many of these children could be reunited with their parents.
